Following on from the set of colour/form-focussed photos taken in South Africa, I took more abstract photographs on a recent trip around Italy.

Inspired by a series of photographs taken by a friend, I set out to take a series of photos of eye-catching colours, shapes and textures, while in South Africa. The intention is that the subject of each photo should not be instantly recognisable, but appreciated for the patterns and forms contained.

Whipsnade Wild Animal Park

Whipsnade Wild Animal Park is possibly Britain's best zoological attraction and animal conservation organisation, and along with London Zoo, is part of ZSL, the Zoological Society of London.
A fantastic selection of animals live in the park, entertaining young and old alike.
