Iceland - field trip SE of Reykjavik
by Rog PalmerThe European Archaeological Consortium, who were hosting the meeting at Reykjavik, laid on a field trip to some archaeological sites (Žingvellir, Skįlholt, Keldur) ending near the volcanic eruption at Eyjafjallajökull. This last was a major tourist attraction for the Icelanders who were setting up for a night's entertainment when we left.
